PROCESSING EMOTIONS
A five step guide on how to let yourself feel, regulate and process emotions safely.
A quick fix or distraction is often easier and more natural than letting the feeling rip, but I have learnt how much easier life is when you just let your feeling be felt. Our moods and feelings will always fluctuate with what is going on in our days, lives and the state of the world too.
So, when our feelings pop up for us, the quicker we process, the quicker we can be present in the moment again and feel regulated.
QUEERNESS
Reflections on my journey into understanding my queerness, coming out and the importance of using your privilege to support LGBTQIA2S+ people.
I have been on quite the journey with my queerness, which still to this day is an ever evolving and growing beautiful and complex facet of myself. I came out in 2021 after falling in love with a non-binary human, and began the beautiful and oftentimes hard work of understanding myself, digging into my own buried internalized homophobia and shame and weeding out the beliefs that it was wrong or something I should hide.

STARTING
Entering my online journal era
I am writing this first ever blog post (scary, lol) from my bed in Costa Rica, struck with severe period pains I have decided that to soothe my stabbing ovaries I will overcome a fear by channeling the period pains into beginning to write online. Fight fire with fire baby! I challenged myself to do this a very long time ago (years) and what better time than now to focus my mind away from the fact I have some sort of gremlin with a pick axe rage-rooming in my womb.
